This dish can be made ahead the night before. Then wake up Christmas morning and put it in the oven.
Mix ingredients together in a large bowl. Transfer to a greased 9×13 casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Note: if prepared the night before, keep the casserole refrigerated overnight until ready to cook.

I use sour cream with chives and I add a can of cream of chicken soup in additon to the other ingredients and top it with finely chopped ham abpit 10 minutes before baking is completed.

These were so yummy! I’ve made several variations of these potatoes but this is the best one yet. I’ve quit looking, I’ll make these from now on!

These are SOOOOO good! I have made these several times now and the whole family loves them. I will be making these for our Christmas morning breakfast from now on. Thanks for a great recipe!
