Description

An easy and frugal way to enjoy this carnival treat any time of the year!

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (14 Oz. Size) Caramel Pieces
  • 1-½ teaspoon Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Whole Or Crushed Nuts (optional)
  • 5 whole Grannysmith Apples

Preparation

Start by unwrapping your caramels and putting them in a pot on the stove over medium high heat. Add the water and stir till melted.

Remove from heat.

While your caramel is cooling down (and thickening a bit for coating the apples), you can get the nuts ready (optional) in a bowl for dipping, or just skewer your apples.

When your caramel is thick and cool, roll your apples until coated.

Either set aside to cool completely or dip in crushed nuts and then set aside.

Enjoy!
