A great tasting drink that has all the flavors of the season and will be sure to please even the most picky wine drinker.
Pour apple cider into a large saucepan. Add sliced orange, cloves and 4 cinnamon sticks (left whole). Simmer over low heat for 1 hour but make sure to not boil cider.
Remove from heat and strain through a fine mesh strainer to remove any solids. Place in refrigerator and allow to cool for at least 1 hour or overnight.
Fill large glasses with ice (we like using small pitchers). Add 1/4 bottle of wine in each glass. Add mulled cider to glass.
Garnish with an orange wedge and a cinnamon stick. Enjoy.
