A delightful morning treat, perfect to get the day starting off right!
I made this Milky Way Mocha with my espresso machine; however, you can do this without one, too.
Pour the caramel sauce into a coffee mug. In a steaming pitcher, pour in milk with powdered chocolate. Steam this up to 140ºF (i used the steamer of my espresso machine). Then, make the espresso.
Pour the espresso into the mug. Use a spatula to hold back the foam on the frothed chocolate milk and poured that in. Stir well, top with whipped cream and drizzle with additional caramel sauce.
To make this without an espresso machine, simply heat the milk and chocolate just as you would hot chocolate and use brewed coffee instead of espresso.
