Description

This is my adaptation of one of my childhood favourites, the New York Egg Cream. I’m submitting it just for fun since I’ve submitted so many serious recipes. I love ‘em! The rest of my family thinks I’m a little nuts and this is a lapse in my usual good taste in food. Ignore them and try it! You might like it. By the way burping contests are optional. Side note: New York Egg Creams don’t contain eggs or cream!

Ingredients

  • 1 can (12 Oz. Size) Coke
  • 3 Tablespoons Chocolate Syrup

Preparation

1. Pour 1 inch (3 heaping tablespoons) of chocolate flavoured syrup into a tall glass.
2. Gently pour 12 ounces of Coke over the syrup, tilt glass slightly while pouring to reducing foaming.
3. Stir vigorously with a long spoon to mix the syrup and Coke and enjoy!

This is great! I have actually had a chocolate coke before in a malt shop in Galveston. It was sooo yummy! Who knew it was that easy to make!?! Can’t wait to make one.

This is too funny and two of my most favorite things (well I’m a ‘real’ coke addict). And it’s good. My mom thought I was funny drinking this before she plopped in the ice cream for our coke float.
