Description
Revive the mystery of the orange with this simple, yet elegant cocktail that marries the traditional holiday flavors of chocolate and orange with yuletide éclat.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces, fluid Gin
- 1 ounce, fluid Cointreau Or Grand Marnier
- 4 dashes Orange Bitters
- Dark Chocolate (at Least 60% Cacao), For Garnish
- Twist Of Orange For Garnish (optional)
Preparation
Fill a cocktail shaker 3/4 full with ice. Add gin, Cointreau, and orange bitters. Stir or shake for at least 30 seconds to ensure the drink is well chilled.
Strain into a cocktail glass. Using a microplaner, cover the top of the drink with chocolate shavings. Garnish with a thin twist of orange in the center of the glass.
