Description

A delicious blend of vanilla flavoring and hot fudge creates this homemade Vanilla Fudge Swirl Ice Cream. It’s deliciously creamy and full of flavor, with no ice cream maker required!

Ingredients

  • 1 can Sweetened, Condensed Milk - 14-ounce Can
  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 8 ounces, weight Container Of Cool Whip
  • ¾ cups Hot Fudge, Slightly Warmed

Preparation

In a large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk and cream cheese and mix together until smooth using a hand mixer. Add the vanilla and mix until incorporated. Fold in Cool Whip until combine. Then fold in the hot fudge.

Pour into a resealable container (I used a standard size loaf pan), cover with a sheet of plastic wrap and freeze for at least four hours, but preferably overnight.

Remove from freezer, scoop and enjoy! Ice cream will keep in the freezer for up to one month.

This ice cream is amazing!!! Clearly no one else has tried it or it would be swimming in high ratings.
I’m an “old style” ice cream chick – lots of heavy cream, egg yolks, etc. But to have this go together so quickly and easily (I have three electric ice cream freezers and hate messing with any of them), and to have it be so remarkably good…well, just WOW!
I was initially wary of the sweetened condensed milk – it often leaves to much of its own taste for my druthers, but it was not a problem.

I have to get going…need to make LOTS of copies of this recipe as I took it to work today and now EVERYONE wants the recip.
