This quickly became a family favorite.
1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease and flour or line muffin cups.
2. In a large bowl combine butter, milk, eggs, almond extract and vanilla.
3. Add cake mix and mix until fully incorporated.
4. Pour into muffin cups 2/3 full.
5. Place about 1 tablespoon of chocolate chips on top.
6. Using the tip of a butter knife, lightly stir each cup a bit to incorporate chocolate chips. (Not too much or the chips will just fall to the bottom. Just a bit of mixing.)
7. Bake for about 18-20 minutes or until done.
8. Remove and let cool.
