Yummy, sweetened rhubarb baked in a delicious springtime cake. This cake is a perfect example of the spring harvest of rhubarb. It is a special family recipe.
Spread the first 4 ingredients (rhubarb, sugar, jello, marshmallows) in a 12″ x 9″ baking dish.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix on top to cover
Add the cut up pieces of butter and the nuts, scattering evenly on top of the dry cake mix.
Pour the water evenly over all the ingredients.
Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
Serve with plenty of vanilla ice cream! Enjoy!

I made this and it turned out nothing like a cake. It was very tasty, but no resemblence to a cake.

Very similar to the rhubarb dessert that my mother-in-law makes! Its one of our favorites!
