This cake is very simple and if you like peanut butter, you will have no complaints!
For the cake:
1. Preheat oven to 325ºF (165ºC) and grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans or two oblong pans like I used.
2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine peanut butter and butter. Cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at time and mix well.
3. Add cake mix and water and stir until combined. Pour batter into prepared pans.
4. Bake for 22 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely before frosting.
For the ganache:
1. In a double boiler over hot water, combine chocolate chips, butter, and corn syrup.
2. Stir until chips are melted and mixture is smooth. Spread warm glaze over top of cake, letting it drizzle down the sides or let cool and spread evenly on top. Refrigerate if you wish to let it harden a bit.
