Description

Just like my mama used to make, and my waistline used to (still does) cry over.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick Salted Butter, Melted
  • 1 cup Crushed Graham Crackers
  • 1-½ cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1-½ cup Butterscotch Chips
  • 1-½ cup Sweetened Shredded Coconut
  • 1-½ cup Crushed Walnuts
  • 1 can Sweetened, Condensed Milk - 14-ounce Can

Preparation

Preheat oven to 325 F. Pour the melted butter into the bottom of a 9×13 glass baking dish and spread it around until bottom is coated evenly in butter. Sprinkle crushed Graham crackers over the bottom, spreading evenly.

Sprinkle each ingredient evenly over the next, in this order – chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, shredded coconut, crushed walnuts. One layer will not completely cover the next—that’s ok. You just want to make sure that each ingredient is spread out as evenly as possible over the whole dish.

Use a can opener to open the can of condensed milk about 1/3 of the way open (enough that liquid can get out and is pushed out when you press on the lid with your finger). Tip it and press the lid down so the condensed milk drizzles out over the top of the dish. Drizzle the entire can of milk over the top of the dish, going back and forth over spots when needed. When you’re finished, the top will pretty much be covered.

Bake dish at 325 F for 35-40 minutes. Do not overbake! Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
