Peaches tossed in a sweet balsamic glaze and set between flaky puff pastry layers with brie cheese. These are sure to help you steal someone’s heart.
1. Preheat oven to 400ºF. Defrost puff pastry dough. Unroll and cut out any shape you want for your pastry. Place on a greased baking sheet and brush the top of the pastry with the beaten egg. Bake the puff pastry for 18 minutes or till golden brown on top.
2. In a saucepan heat the balsamic and sugar, until it reduces and thickens.
3. Cut the peaches into 1″ cubes. Remove from heat and toss the peaches in the balsamic glaze.
4. Once the puff pastries are done, cut in half. Place a slice of brie on the bottom half of the pastry and top with balsamic peaches. Put the top of the pastry back on and place back in the warm oven to melt the cheese.
5. Drizzle with extra balsamic glaze if desired. Serve warm.
