Takes plain whipped cream to a new level! Use in place of frosting on a cake for a lighter topping. I use this to make Black Forest Cake or fill a classic jelly roll.
Put the whipping cream into a large bowl. Use a mixer and whip the cream until soft peaks form. Add pudding mix, sour cream and powdered sugar one at a time and continue to mix. Add vanilla extract and mix it in.
Frost or fill a cooled cake and serve immediately or store in the refrigerator.
This is especially good for making a Black Forest Cake.
