My Aunt June makes this recipe every Thanksgiving and for every potluck leading up to the holidays. The presentation is beautiful in her crystal trifle bowl. Make this for your holidays! It will not disappoint!
Mix the softened cream cheese and Cool Whip until smooth.
Place some of the pie cubes in the bottom of a 4 quart trifle dish or your favorite tall 4 quart glass bowl. You want it to cover the bottom, but it doesn’t have to be perfect.
Spread part of the cream cheese/Cool Whip mixture over the pie cubes. (Again it does not have to be perfect).
Drizzle the caramel topping on top. Sprinkle on some chopped pecans and Heath bits. Place more pie cubes.
Drizzle on the chocolate topping. Sprinkle on more chopped pecans and Heath bits.
You can repeat layers as many times as you like or until your bowl is full.
Cover and chill for at least 1 hour or up to 8 hours before serving.
Note: You can find the chocolate Heath bits in your grocery store but it may be seasonal. They do have the plain brickle bits most of the year. You also may need to alter the quantity of ice cream topping depending on your taste and size of your bowl.

I had this at Thanksgiving and it is so good. I don’t even like pecan pie that much, but this was GOOD!
