Fast and easy, good warm or cold—perfect when you need to throw something together!
Place fruit in a 9 x 13 baking pan, with syrup. Do not drain.
Mix egg, salt, baking powder, sugar and flour together until it is a crumbly mixture. Spread over peaches. Melt butter and pour over the top.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown (which is sometimes 45 minutes, in my oven).
This recipe can also be made with fresh peaches or blackberries. Just mix 1/2 cup sugar with 1 cup warm water and pour over the fresh or frozen fruit, then proceed as above.
