A small batch of tasty orange sherbet, made in our Cuisinart automatic ice cream maker.
Whisk sugar, water, eggs, and orange juice concentrate until sugar is dissolved. Add cream. Transfer to freezing canister of automatic ice cream maker. Freeze until desired soft-serve consistency is reached, about 25 minutes.
Serve immediately, or place canister in freezer 1–2 hours until ice cream hardens completely.
Makes about 1 quart.
