The perfect “sweet” to always have around!
1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
2. Cream butter slowly.
3. Add sugar and continue beating at low speed for 10 minutes.
4. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
5. Add flour and flavoring. Mix thoroughly.
6. Turn temperature down to 300ºF when you put the cake in the oven.
Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or possibly a few minutes shorter (check with a toothpick!).

What size pan? Do you grease and flour the pan?
