This recipe serves two, perfect for you and that special someone, although I have never known a kid to turn down one of these babies either.
Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
In a medium-sized bowl and using a hand mixer, cream the butter and sugar. Beat in the egg, followed by the flour. Finally, gradually beat in the melted chocolate.
Pour the batter evenly into 2 cups of a jumbo muffin pan that have been buttered and coated in granulated sugar. Bake the cakes for about 8 minutes, or until the cakes have lost their jiggle in the middle. Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan and placing on the plate.
I top mine with a dusting of powdered sugar, and a heart finger-painted on with leftover melted chocolate doesn’t hurt either. Enjoy!
