A moist, wonderful pound cake that my grandmother taught me to make. This is certainly not for those who are watching their waist…because it’s addictive!
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees (F).
Cream the sugar and oleo in a mixer (or butter, if you’re substituting that). Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Then, into the butter mixture add the eggs and the flour mixture alternately. Fold in sour cream, vanilla extract, butter flavoring, and coconut extract.
Bake at 325 degrees in a loaf pan for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until done.
Note: the serving size is really an approximation. It depends on how big you cut your slices!
