I know there are many pumpkin pie recipes floating around out there but this is one is the best I’ve come across and is a little different. I serve it topped with sugared pecans and homemade maple whipped cream, which is simply a cup of heavy whipping cream and 1/4 cup maple syrup whipped together.
Whisk together eggs, pumpkin, cream, maple syrup, salt, and spices.
Pour into the pie crust.
Bake on a foil-lined cookie sheet placed on the lowest rack in the oven at 350 degrees for 60-70 minutes.
Top with sugared pecans and maple whipped cream!
