  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Flour
  • 5 whole Eggs
  • 1 cup Melted Butter
  • 1 cup Sweetened, Condensed Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 whole 9 Inch Unbaked Pie Crust

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large bowl, combine sugar and flour. Beat in the eggs until blended. Stir in the melted butter, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. Pour filling into the pie crust.

wow, this sounds amazing! i have yet to bake a chess pie, but i see a lot of recipes call for vinegar and cornmeal. i’m liking the sound of this version, though!

Our whoel family devoured this pie. I was looking for a recipe with condensed milk, and this one was perfect. Note, I used 1 cup brown sugar and 1 cup sugar instead of 2 cups sugar because I ran out. I will always make the recipe this way, as it tasted like butter pecan ice cream (per my nephew). We love it! Thanks
