An easy way to get your summer sherbet fix. Takes a little time in the freezer, but it definitely worth the wait!
Dissolve gelatin into the boiling water, then stir in sugar. Continue stirring until sugar is completely dissolved. Now stir in the milk.
Pour into a 9×13 pan and freeze for 1 hour. Spoon mixture into a chilled mixing bowl and beat until smooth. Blend in Cool Whip, then return to the 9×13 pan. Freeze for about 4 hours, or overnight.
