This is a long time family favorite passed down from my grandma. It’s so lemony and moist and very addictive.
Put Jello mix, eggs, oil and water into cake mix and mix well.
Bake according to directions on box in a 9×13-inch pan. It may take a little longer than specified on the box. Just stick a toothpick into the center to test it (should come out clean if it’s done) before pulling it out of the oven.
Prepare the topping by mixing the powdered sugar and lemon juice.
When cake has been taken out of oven, immediately pierce it with a fork several times and pour the topping mixture over the cake.

First, to kathy (above): 2 cups powdered sugar and 1/2 cup Real Lemon Juice…it’s up there, now.
Now…This cake is wonderful! I took it to work (they serve as my testers) and everyone who tried it, raved. The lemon flavor is wonderful (my nose doesn’t work well, so I miss a lot of flavors, but THIS one, really came through).
I’ll be making it again (and again, and againg…).

There are no ingredients listed for the topping to this cake. How much powdered sugar and lemon juice is needed?
