A very moist cake that’s so yummy you can’t get enough of it.
Prepare German Chocolate cake mix in a 9×13 cake pan according to instructions on box (you’ll typically need water, eggs, and oil, as directed in mix package). I sometimes use a Devil’s Food cake mix depending on how much chocolate I’m in the mood for. While cake is still warm, poke holes into the cake with a fork. Pour condensed milk over the cake. Let it soak in just a minute. Pour caramel topping evenly over the cake.
Cover and refrigerate the cake until thoroughly cooled. I stick with overnight or at least 4 hours if I forget to make it the night before.
When ready to serve, top the cake with all of the Cool Whip. Then sprinkle the Heath Toffee bits on top, cut and serve. Refrigerate leftovers.

I love this cake. Have made it for years. We call it Mud and Snow Tires Cake. Thanks for sharing it here!

Heath Cake is a big favorite around here. We are just 20 minutes from the original Heath Candy factory. We have many family and friends who have worked there and work there still. Jan
