This is my great grandmother’s recipe passed down through five generations. These popcorn balls are sweet, chewy, and delicious!
Pop the popcorn and remove any unpopped kernels. In a saucepan, combine white sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, water, butter, and vinegar. Cook until mixture reaches soft ball stage (about 240 degrees). Remove from heat and add baking soda. Pour over popcorn and mix. Shape into balls with buttered hands. Be sure to wrap each popcorn ball in plastic wrap.
