This sounds so good, I’ll have to see if there are any stores in my area who carry coconut oil and almond meal, the other stuff I know I could find at the local grocery store. I’ll have to try it sometime, that sounds and looks divine.

I have to apologize for the low expectations I had for this dessert. A CUP of maple syrup?! Seriously?? Oh yes…..seriously. Seriously delicious. Thank you for sharing this yummy recipe.

Almost indecently rich! These were so dense, delicious, and well… everything that dark chocolate should be. I can’t believe something vegan, raw, AND gluten free could be so tasty. Well done!

I made these for my guy for Valentine’s day, and they were a huge hit. I didn’t have tartelette pans, so I used ramekins. The resulting tarts were a little thicker and less elegant, but still completely tasty. I also added a touch of vanilla to the filling because I couldn’t fathom from the ingredient list how they would turn out; vanilla felt like insurance. But it didn’t need it. :D I also topped these with some homemade whipped cream with fresh strawberries on the side. The lighter fruit was a great contrast/complement to the rich chocolate.

I will definitely be making these again, though I may end up halving the recipe next time so there aren’t any tempting leftovers beyond two serving. And I’ll be passing the recipe along to all of my vegan &/or GF friends. I know they’ll love it!
