If you love cake, and if you love flan, this cake will become a favorite. Good served hot or cold. It’s one of my family’s favorites.
If you want a little “bite” and less sweet, use the Cajeta caramel sauce in the Hispanic food section.
Preheat Oven to 350 degrees
Spray (metal) bunt pan heavily with Pam.
Pour 1/4 cup caramel syrup in bottom of pan.
Mix 1 yellow cake mix per directions on box.
Pour on top of Carmel in bunt pan.
Mix in blender:
4 eggs
1 can Eagle Brand Milk
1 large can Pet Evaporated Milk
Pour over cake mix in Bunt pan.
Cook in water bath for 1 hour in preheated oven.
Take out of oven and let sit in water bath for an additional 15min.
Cool Cake completely before removing from bunt pan onto platter.
