Rich, minty, lovely, affordable, and super fake-out easy. If you’re in a rush and you’ve got a crowd to please, these brownies will come to your rescue.
*Check out the related blog post for way too many pictures and commentary.
Prepare the brownie mix according to the instructions on the box.
Line a 9×13 pan with parchment paper, leaving a few inches hanging over the sides.
Pour half the batter into the pan.
Unwrap the York patties and lay them out in rows, overlapping the candies slightly. This is what makes the pretty stripes in the brownies.
Pour the remaing batter over the top of the patties and spread out evenly.
Bake, following the insructions on the box.
Allow the brownies to cool completely before using the overhanging parchment paper to lift them out of the pan. Slice and serve.
Enjoy!

Major yum! I made these a week ago for some friends. Doesn’t get much easier, either. Thanks for the great idea!

Made these on Saturday for the church picnic on Sunday. My hubby and I were forced to try a small portion each to make sure they were good enough for others to enjoy. :o) They were so rich that we decided to cut them into about 1.5×1.5 inch pieces. There wasn’t a crumb left! We’re wondering if cut up Snickers would be appropriate. Worth a try!
