Pumpkin cake that is reminiscent of pumpkin pie, without any fuss.
Add the can of pumpkin to cake mix, fill pumpkin can with water and add to cake mix. Do NOT add the eggs, oil, etc, that the cake mix package typically calls for. The pumpkin and water take care of everything for you! Bake according to box directions (time and temperature), and enjoy!
I like to frost with Cool Whip (lactose free) mixed with 1/4 cup of brown sugar.
Tastes great, easier than pie and not all that bad for you. Any cake mix works, I like carrot or spice.
