Description

This pie is so delicious and yet easy to make, but your friends and family will swear you spent hours making it!

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Heavy Cream
  • 16 whole Large, Jet-Puffed Marshmallows, Quartered
  • 1 whole 4 Oz. Milk Chocolate Bar, Chopped
  • 1 whole 4 Oz. Dark Chocolate Bar, Chopped
  • 1 whole 8 Oz. Container Of Cool Whip, Thawed
  • 1 whole 8" Oreo Or Graham Cracker Pie Crust
  • Optional Garnishes: Chocolate Shavings, Additional Whipped Cream Topping, Etc

Preparation

In a large sauce pan, add heavy cream and all of the marshmallows. Over medium-low heat, melt marshmallows, stirring constantly. This may take a little time, so be patient. Also, you can do this in a double boiler if you want. When the marshmallows have melted, remove from heat and add all of the chocolate and stir until all chocolate has melted. Set aside to let mixture come to room temperature. This step is very important! Do not add the Cool Whip until the chocolate mixture is room temperature or it won’t get nice and fluffy because the Cool Whip will have melted from the heat of the chocolate.

Once the chocolate mixture is cooled, fold in the Cool Whip until well blended. Spoon the mixture into your pie crust. Chill for 2-3 hours in the fridge. You can top the pie with chocolate shavings or more whipped cream (or both). Then, sit back and wait for the compliments to pour in! Enjoy!
