Description

This is the EASIEST dessert ever—and the yummiest! You can mix up the flavors as well. I really want to try this with the Oreo pudding!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces, weight Cool Whip
  • 1 package (large 6-serving Size) Vanilla Instant Pudding
  • 2 cups Cold Milk
  • 1 box (14.4 Oz. Size) Graham Crackers
  • 1 container (16 Oz. Size) Milk Chocolate Frosting

Preparation

Defrost the Cool Whip. Prepare the instant pudding with the milk, according to the box directions. Mix in the Cool Whip.

Using a 9 x 13 pan, layer graham crackers covering the entire bottom of the pan. Next, put a layer of the pudding mixture over the grahams. Use only half of the pudding mix. Add another layer of grahams, a layer of pudding (the second half), and then a final layer of grahams.

Melt the frosting in the microwave for aproximately 30 seconds. Be sure to remove all the foil from the container. Then pour the frosting over the top layer of grahams. Cover and refrigerate for a few hours before serving.

You can mix up the layers of pudding and frosting with different flavors. I really want to try the Oreo pudding! My aunt makes it with chocolate pudding and vanilla frosting.

I love this! Our family calls it “eclair pie” and it is a big favorite. The chocolate frosting on top is so nice and rich against the sweet pudding, and the graham crackers are yummy and soft after chilling. Great dessert.
