Description

Perfect on ice cream!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Blueberries
  • ¼ cups Water
  • ¼ cups Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoons Cornstarch

Preparation

Combine all ingredients except for the cornstarch in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium head and reduce to low and simmer.

Mix cornstarch with water and add to blueberry mixture. Bring to a boil. Add more cornstarch if desired to adjust thickness.

Serve over ice cream.

Served it over cheesecake and everyone loved it! I skipped the cinnamon, and used about a 1/2 Tb. of cornstarch to get the consistency I wanted, but overall the proportions got me exactly the taste I was going for.
