Description

This double chocolate chip granola is so good! I promise you. Just go make this now and you won’t regret it. It’s extra chocolatey, crunchy, nutty, sweet, salty, perfection, yummy, oh-so-good, just can’t get enough, amazing….

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Oats
  • ½ cups Almonds, Roughly Chopped (Measured Before Chopping)
  • ½ cups Pecans, Roughly Chopped (Measured Before Chopping)
  • ½ cups Pistachios, Roughly Chopped (Measured Before Chopping)
  • ½ cups Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • ¼ cups Dark Brown Sugar (packed)
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ¾ cups Melted Coconut Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • 2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • ½ cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Preheat oven to 300ºF.

Mix oats, pecans, pistachios, cocoa powder, brown sugar, and salt together. Set aside.

Whisk together coconut oil, honey, and maple syrup until smooth. Pour coconut oil mixture over oat mixture and stir until moistened.

Spread mixture evenly on an unlined, rimmed baking sheet. It should be a thin, single layer. Bake for 40 minutes, stirring every 20 minutes.

Remove granola from oven and gently stir in semi sweet chocolate chips. Try to not stir too much, so you can get those really yummy clumps. Let it cool completely and enjoy!

Note: This does take a while to cool. I let it sit out all day to harden, although it’s really delicious when it’s warm and gooey, too.
