This is my mother-in-law’s recipe. These devilish morsels are around every family event. Great for Hanukkah since they use matzo crackers. They are super easy and super yummy!
Preheat oven to 400°. Line a jellyroll or cookie sheet with foil. Spray with cooking spray. Line the crackers on the foil to cover the sheet.
Mix melted butter and brown sugar together. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. This can be done in the microwave, just check it every few minutes. The mixture should be semi-thick. Pour over the crackers. Bake for 5 minutes.
Take it out of the oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips on top. Spread the chips until melted. You might have to put the pan back in the oven for about 30 seconds to help melt the chocolate.
Sprinkle the nuts over the top. Refrigerate until firm. Break into pieces.

I made this using the saltines and I would highly reccomend it! It’s very simple to make and quick too. The salty sweet combo is perfect together!
