This a family favorite for the Christmas holiday season. With the festive looking Craisins and the delicious whiskey sauce, it is divine. I love it more that any other bread pudding.
For the bread pudding:
Use 1-1/2 to 2 pounds of croissants, depending on your tastes.
Spray a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan with cooking spray. Spread out croissant cubes evenly in the pan. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs. Add whipping cream, milk, sugar, Frangelico, vanilla extract and almond extract and whisk until well blended. Pour evenly over bread cubes. Sprinkle in dried cranberries and push down with a spoon to let the bread soak up all the liquid. Let stand for 30 minutes, occasionally pressing the bread into the custard mixture. (This can be prepared up to 2 hours ahead. Cover and refrigerate.)
Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake until pudding is set in the center, about 40-50 minutes. Cool slightly. Serve warm, with a drizzle of Jack Daniel’s sauce and a dollop of whipped cream.
For the Whiskey Sauce:
Melt butter in small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in remaining ingredients. Simmer until thickened, whisking often, about 3 minutes. Cool slightly.

Bread Pudding is a favorite at our house. I saw this recipe and decided to try it and I must say “Oh My Goodness” was this ever a winner! Absolutely wonderful.
Easy breezy to make and we will be enjoying this recipe time and time again.
I also doubled the Wiskey Sauce to have enough to enjoy
until the Bread Pudding runs out.
Awesome !

My husband made this for a dinner with friends for Valentines Day! It was a huge hit!! We made it home with only 2 slices left!!! Everyone was coming back for another taste! Instead of the Jack Daniels we used Makers Mark, it was delicious. I highly recommend this recipe. It was delicious and easy.
Fantastic recipe!!!

This is the most luscious dessert ever, it’s almost decadent.
We made it one year for our friend’s birthday and now it gets requested every year as the favorite treat ever for a bunch of our friends. The combination of custard with the croissants, red craisens, creamy caramel color of the Jack Daniels sauce and the white whipped cream (which actually mellows the flavor) is incredible.
This is also very easy to make. We double the sauce recipe so that we can have enough to warm it up over the next few days.
Great recipe!
