If you love coconut and pineapple, this could very well be one of the best pies that ever passed your lips .
In a large bowl combine sugar and flour. Add corn syrup, coconut, pineapple, eggs and vanilla. Mix well and pour into pie shell. Drizzle with melted butter.
Bake in preheated 350F oven for 50- 55 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Note: If pie starts to brown too quickly cover loosely with foil.
Cool on wire rack and chill 30 minutes before serving.
