A moist cake with a yummy cinnamon glaze. A great dessert with vanilla ice cream or plain for breakfast.
Mix the brown sugar, flour, 2 tablespoons of the cinnamon and butter together until crumbly. Set aside one and a half cups of this to cover the top of the following mixture.
To the remaining sugar/flour mixture, add the eggs, buttermilk, chopped pecans and baking soda.
Pour the batter into a 13×9 inch pan. Sprinkle the reserved crumbled topping on the batter. Dot the top with 1/4 cup butter slices.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Glaze
Mix the powdered sugar, heavy cream and remaining tablespoon of cinnamon. Pour over slightly cooled cake. Enjoy!
