A delicious and beautiful dessert with a chocolate cake mix shortcut.
Mix and bake cake according to package directions, using two 9-inch pans. Cool in pans for 15 minutes; remove and cool completely on wire racks.
In a bowl, beat cream cheese, brown sugar, vanilla and salt until fluffy. Fold in whipped cream.
Split each cake layer into 2 layers. Place one on a serving plate and spread with 1/4 of the cream mixture. Sprinkle with 1/4 of the grated chocolate. Repeat layers.
Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
