Smooth and creamy.
Cream butter and sugar together till fluffy. Drizzle in chocolate and vanilla. Set the mixer on low and add the eggs, one at at time, waiting 4-5 minutes in between, for a total whipping time of 15-20 minutes.
Transfer into the pie shell and refrigerate at least 3 hours.
Top with whipped cream and shaved chocolate curls.
Note: you may fold in some whipped cream or Cool Whip after the eggs if you desire a lighter filling.
