An easy, no-mixer-required, recipe to whip up an awesome chocolate cake AND glaze, all at once!
Preheat oven to 350F.
Cream together butter and 3/4 cups of white sugar. Add the 1/2 cup milk and vanilla and stir.
Sift together flour, salt, baking powder, and 3 tablespoon cocoa powder. Combine dry and wet ingredients.
Spread into greased 9×9 pan.
Combine remaining 1/2 cup of white sugar, the brown sugar, and 1/4 cup cocoa powder. Sprinkle over batter.
Pour the warm liquid of your choice evenly all over the top of the mixture.
Bake for 30 minutes.

Easy and quick to make, but I was expecting something more tasty. Definitely better served warm. I found that it lost its appeal and tastiness the next day. Still worth making again, but only if served fresh and warm from the oven accompanied by vanilla ice cream.
