I keep these ingredients on hand all the time in case company pops in. They can be made quickly and always get gobbled down.
Note: I typically use the Betty Crocker Brownie Mix that includes chocolate chunks. If not available, just use a regular 21 ounce box and add a heaping 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chunks.
Mix brownies according to package directions – add in the additional required ingredients specified in mix package (typically water, eggs and oil)and also add chocolate chunks (if necessary) and ground walnuts.
Bake in a 13″ x 9″ pan according to package directions. Cool completely in pan.
Frost with whipped milk chocolate frosting and sprinkle with 1/4 – 1/2 cup of coarsely chopped walnuts (optional).
