Super easy egg-free chocolate cake!
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease and flour an 8-inch square pan or spray pan with baking spray (Pam mixed with flour).
In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In small bowl, stir together oil, vinegar, and vanilla. Add oil mixture and water to flour mixture. Stir well to combine (mixture will be lumpy). Fold in chocolate chips.
Bake 25–30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool at least 15 minutes before cutting into pieces. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
