Basically a chocolate spice cake with chocolate chips passed down from my great aunt.
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, cocoa, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, cloves and salt. Mix well.
3. To dry ingredients, add butter, applesauce, eggs, 1/2 cup walnuts, 1/2 cup chocolate chips and raisins. Beat until smooth.
4. Spray a 13×9 in. pan with cooking spray. Pour batter into prepared pan.
5. Sprinkle top with brown sugar, remaining nuts and remaining chocolate chips.
6. Bake for 30-35min or until it passes the toothpick test!
