A light and flaky puff pastry filled with rich dark chocolate and topped with sweet cherry jam.
Preheat oven to 400ºF.
On a lightly floured surface, unfold the pastry sheet. Roll the pastry sheet to expand 1″ on each side. Cut into 9 squares. Press the pastry squares into nine 2-1/2-inch muffin-pan cups. Press down gently. In the center of each cup, add 2 chocolate wafers, then top with 1 teaspoon cherry jam.
Place in the oven and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired. Serve warm.
