Warning: you will want to eat this for breakfast with a cup of coffee.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 13×9 glass pan with cooking spray. Combine all ingredients and mix on medium speed with a mixer. Batter will be very thin.
Pour batter into a pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, until a wooden toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool completely.
For the frosting;
Combine ingredients and mix at medium speed until smooth. Spread frosting over the cooled cake and top with miniature chocolate chips.

I have used this recipe twice already! I had never made a cake from scratch before and was skeptical that something so easy would provide the desired results. It was DIVINE!!! I love it…my kids love it! Deep, rich, moist cake and heavenly frosting! Thanks SO MUCH!! I am no longer afraid to attempt cakes from scratch!!

OHHHHH MY GOODNESS!!! This is wonderful. My mother who is a GREAT cook said it was the best cake she ever had. The chocolate cake is so moist, it is the perfect standard chocolate cake recipe. You have to make this one!!!
