This is a very yummy and easy chocolate-brownie recipe from my grandmother Edith. Craving a soft and moist chocolate brownie? This is your salvation!
1. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, confectioner’s sugar and nuts. Set aside.
2. Divide the eggs. Yolks in a big bowl, whites in a medium bowl. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Set aside.
3. If it’s not at room temperature, soften the butter in your microwave for just a few seconds. With an electric mixer combine butter and yolks.
4. Now soften the chocolate in your microwave. Using your mixer on low speed combine the molten chocolate and the butter-yolk mixture.
5. Cup by cup add the flour mixture to the chocolate-butter. Beat on low speed just until combined.
6. At the very end carefully fold in the beaten egg whites.
7. Spread the dough into a medium sized, 2 inch deep cake pan. Bake at 330°F for about 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
