Description

Sweet and salty, this is a fun twist on a Buns in my Oven recipe. Careful, it’s very addictive!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Oil
  • 1 cup Popcorn Kernels
  • 3 whole Squares Melting Chocolate (Almond Bark)
  • 6 strips Bacon

Preparation

Heat oil in a large pot with lid. Add 1kernel popcorn; when it pops, carefully throw in remaining kernels. Cover with the lid. Once popping slows, remove from heat.

Pour popcorn on waxed-paper-covered baking sheets.

Melt chocolate in a microwave safe small bowl. Alternate microwaving 45 seconds and stirring until just melted. Drizzle over popcorn.

While popcorn sets, cook up some bacon till crisp. Transfer to paper towels; let them absorb as much oil as possible.

Crumble bacon and toss with chocolate-popcorn.

Enjoy!

You can make bacon popcorn by cooking your bacon, and using the bacon fat to pop the popcorn. I havent tried it yet but it sounds delish. This recipe sounds pretty yummy also.
