Cherry Fudge Cake

Description
A simple cake that is great for potlucks, or to share with family.
Ingredients
- 1 box Chocolate Or Fudge Cake Mix
- 1 can Cherry Pie Filling
- 3 whole Eggs, Beaten
- 1 teaspoon Almond Flavoring (optional)
- 5 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- ⅓ cups Milk
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine the cake mix, pie filling, eggs and almond flavoring in a medium-sized bowl. Pour into a greased 9×13 pan.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
About 5 minutes before the cake finishes baking, combine the remaining ingredients, except for the chocolate chips, in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil and add chocolate chips, stirring until melted. Pour over the hot cake.
