Description

A simple sauce to top a bowl of vanilla ice cream. Simple, but oh so good. Add a few pecans too, if that floats your boat…and you will be thrilled.

Ingredients

  • ⅔ cups White Karo Syrup
  • 1-¼ cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 4 Tablespoons Butter
  • ⅔ cups Cream (or Evaporated Milk)

Preparation

Mix Karo syrup, brown sugar, butter and a dash of salt in pot. Bring to boil.

Remove from heat and cool slightly. Add in cream (or evaporated milk). Serve warm or at room temperature.

Store in fridge and reheat in microwave if you have any left over. And if you do, you are better than me!

at some point recently my chocolate addiction converted to butterscoth addiction. but i’m still just as particular at the need for it to be homemade and tasty.

that said, i’m not sure this is going to make it successfully into OR onto anything, other than me.
