This is a great twist on the traditional sugar cookie for the holidays.
Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
In a bowl whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and egg; set aside. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Then slowly begin to add the flour mixture to the butter mixture. Once that is mixed together, you can add your sugar and stir it to mix in the batter.
Line a muffin pan with cupcake liners and fill each one with batter until almost reaching the top. Place it in the oven for 15 minutes, then once they are done, take them out to let them cool.
For the glaze, mix all the ingredients together in a bowl with an electric mixer. Once the texture is creamy, drizzle the glaze over each cooled cupcake. Serve.
